Mother's Day (or, as we like to say Mothers' Day)

Yes, Mother's Day is to celebrate your singular mother, but it's really a day to celebrate all mothers in whatever form they may come (biological, adopted, grandmother, etc.), so I still think it should be Mothers' Day. 'Nuff said.
Anyway, a few weeks ago, I saw a flier with the Eiffel Tower on it.  And if something features "The Eiffel," as B calls it, or anything French, it draws me in.  Because Paris is my second home.  The home of my soul, you could say.  I studied in Paris, and c'est incroyable.  So I grabbed the flier, and saw it was a Mother's Day picnic with a French theme.  Ummmm....so totally there.

So the day before Mother's Day, we picked up some sandwiches and headed over to Heritage Park.  And it was awesome.

While we were there, we checked out the historical section of Heritage park.  Here's the old barn.

And the one-room schoolhouse (schuulhouse...go watch Megamind) that's been converted into a musem.

And the beautiful old church.

Awesome, awesome day. J'aime ma famille!
