Dinner

Yep.  Leftovers for dinner.

A Bunch of Quacks

So.  I love Anthropologie.  I can't afford it, but I love it.  Anthropologie was really smart and decided to put their store smack dab next to a duck pond.  Which makes life awesome for me because I can finagle some good shopping behavior out of my girls with the promise of a duck-pond visit.

Notice the Anthro bag in the forefront of the picture.  But just focus on the cute girl instead.

These ducks are super feisty!

Park Day

We had planned a beach, day, but, in typical California fashion, it was supposed to be 60 degrees at the beach.  In July.  So we opted for a picnic at the park with friends instead.

Here, Daddy.  Wipes taste good.  Trust me.

Coolest park ever.

Yup, More Swimming

Since E was still terrified of even putting her head under the water after two weeks of swim lessons, we decided to sign her up again.
You can tell she was so excited to be back in the pool.

Still excited.

And another baby-wearing picture of little B.

But, she had an awesome teacher who spent a few minutes with her after class every day and helped her go under (clinging on for dear life).

I DID IT!

Happy 4th!

We celebrated the birth of our nation with truly patriotic activities.
Swimming and a BBQ.
And fireworks.  I guess those are patriotic.  There were some that were red, white, and blue, right?

Little B LOVED the pool!

Best friends.

Happy 4th!

Big B's Birthday

Big B's Birthday (is that enough alliteration for you?)!  We love daddy over here, so when he turned the big 35, we had to have a big celebration.

And we did.  A surprise party.  And I forgot to take pictures.

So here are some pics of his real birthday, with just the kiddos.
One seriously handsome man.

Opening E's present.  Which was a......

hook.  And a sword.  Yep. She picked them out.  Last year she got him a pirate hat, so I guess it's fitting.

We couldn't find our birthday candles. We've actually used this candle for our past three birthdays, which is kind of fun since it's the candle B bought for when he proposed. Maybe it will become a tradition.  Maybe.

B wanted an ice cream cake.  So I attempted.

And failed.  But happy birthday!  We love you!

Fair Day

We have a fantastic county fair, and what better way to spend the afternoon than with pigs, sheep, goats, and some of our best friends.

Never too young to get a foot massage.  Wait.  Maybe you should wait until your feet can actually reach. Maybe.

Only problem with baby-wearing.  The only pictures I get of B look like this.

The best part about the fair?  Alaskan Pig Races.  It's worth the price of admission just to see those cute little porkers jump hurdles.

Go pigs, go!
