First day of School
My beautiful Kindergartner!

Last Days of Summer
The Saturday before school started, we made our way to the park for a picnic and one last Summer night bike ride (though really, it was freezing cold, so it sure didn't feel like summer!).
A Weekend at the Cabin
Our wonderful friends invited us to spend the weekend with them at their family cabin.
The lake is so beautiful and relaxing.

She (almost!) Has Hair!
Little B begged and begged to put piggies (ponytail holders) and bows in her hair one day, so I did. And it...sort of worked.
Who Knew Veggies Could Be Beautiful?!
I just had to post pictures of these tomatoes from our garden that are the MOST BEAUTIFUL TOMATES EVER!!!
They're called Indigo Rose, and my amazing friend gave me the plant. They are SO fun. They start purple, then get kind of black, then get orange anywhere the sun doesn't touch. So the tops under the stem and the bottoms. They're gorgeous. And they taste good. Seriously cool.

My Budding Thespian
Much to my delight (but maybe not surpise, since we're related), E decided she wanted to do Musical Theater Camp. And she rocked.
I wish I could upload the video of her performace (she was awesome!), but it's too big. Way to go, E! you make us so proud!
Joyeux le Quatorze Juillet!
To celebrate Bastille Day (my study abroad in Paris has never left me!), we had a french meal and crepes for dessert!
Ah, the Great Outdoors
Nothing like a little weekend getaway in the great outdoors.
The bird's nest E made outside our tend. No midnight visits from feathered friends.
On the way home we stopped for donuts. Because that's how we camp.
Sorry, Big B. Little B's face is so cute, I just had to include this one.
