We All Scream for Ice Cream!

By the time we were done with wedding pictures, everyone was ready for a little ice cream break at Dockside in Coeur D'Alene.  This place is legendary in our family. When I was about 12, I went with all the adults in my mom's family to Dockside for dessert.  Gramps and I both ordered a certain sundae, and when it came, it was mammoth.  Like something that was meant to be shared with 5 or 6 other people. We both tried our best, but of course we couldn't finish it.  But now we always challenge each other here to see who can finish their dessert.  This time I wimped out and got the smaller size.  But it was still awesome.

Big B and Gramps had a good talk while we were waiting.  And I think he got a little distracted...

Love it.

Perfect kids' sundae. Candy, chocolate, more candy, whipped cream, more candy, and under there somewhere, some ice cream. Happy kid.

The Big Day

Cutest flower girls ever.

I want to blow this one up and look at it every morning.  SO SO cute.  E even got her hair cut short just for the occasion.  She looks so grown up.

And I'd like to wake up to this picture as well.

My beautiful cousin and my Gramps, one of my favorite people in the world.

We love you guys!!!!

Family Time

Best part of all the wedding bliss?  Being together.

Of course B, found the books.

This one is also totally my off-spring!  Loves books!

Wedding Fun

We were SO excited to make our way to Spokane for the wedding of my little brother to his amazing, amazing, amazing fiance!  Can you tell how much we love her?

Our first day there we had a luncheon and got to meet her awesome family.
My gorgeous mom.  And can you see how happy little B is?  She's playing with ice.  She loves ice. Probably because it's one syllable away from "ice cream," which is her favorite phrase.  For good reason.

See?  Ice.

E hanging out with my sis and her husband.

And E with the bride and groom.

"Hey, Uncle M, always take the trash out for her, and remember, she's always right."

Grams and my sis.

I love my brother and his fiance in this picture.  They're just too cute.

E's picture of the bride and groom.  We couldn't be happier!

Spring Recital

Cutest little performer ever?  I think so. She has such great stage presence.

Their ballet number was a daddy-daughter dance.  Which was amazingly cute.

So grown up.

Notice the tongue.  It was out the whole time.

So proud!

Dinner in the Hood

B decided she wanted to wear her hat this way.

And E gave me the "Talk to the hand." Just one of those nights...

Open House

Open House rocks.  It produces tons of "I'm going to cry because I'm so proud of you" moments.  Love every minute of it.

E and her best bud in their class-made Baby Beluga shirts for the ocean-themed evening.

E drew a picture of going to Target.  She is totally my off-spring.

Getting ready for their performance.  This year I got to come in to E's classroom twice a month to do music. It was a blast.  I absolutely loved it.  For Open House, they learned "Baby Beluga." Classic Raffi.  Totally awesome. And I love E's tongue in this shot.

How cute are they?  They had a special surprise for me and also had learned "Slippery Fish" to perform.

"Baby Beluga."  I think this is about when I stared tearing up. They were so awesome.

"Sing your little song. Sing for all your friends. We like to hear you!"

Mrs. Dwyer, the amazing aid in the classroom.  We love you!

And Mrs. Foley, teacher extraordinaire.  You are amazing. What a great year!
